What is a post-rehab fitness program?
Many people will need physical therapy in their life time, i.e. to rehabilitate an injury or minimize the effects of disease. Game Shape offers physical therapy through its affiliated company, Professional Sports & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Associates. Physical therapy is covered by most insurance plans. However, once an insurance plan is exhausted, the patient is often discharged from physical therapy, many times, before they have reached all of their rehabilitation goals. In addition, sometimes patients are discharged by their physician before all of their intended goals are met. Post Rehabilitation is the next step. Post Rehabilitation is a special program provided by our personal trainers (in conjuction with our physical therapists) to help patients transition from working with a physical therapist to working-out in a “healthy” environment, either under the direct supervision of a personal trainer or on their own in the fitness / gym setting.
