The post cap adaptor attaches to a hand rail to give the appearance of a post that extends above the rail. Our post cap adaptor kit includes a 3-1/2″ tall, nominal 4″ x 4″, pressure-treated post; a trim molding; and two galvanized screws. Once installed, the post can be topped with a 4″ x 4″ post cap.
