What is a Post-Baccalaureate/Second Degree?
If a student wishes to complete a second bachelor’s degree in the Department of Chemistry, he/she would apply to USF through the Admissions Office as a post-bacc/second degree-seeking student. A student who already graduated from an accredited four-year institution must meet the major requirements of the most recent catalog and earn a minimum of an additional 30 semester hours of USF undergraduate courses to apply toward his/her second baccalaureate degree. Students with a previous Bachelor’s degree, will not be required to complete USF’s general education, Foundations of Knowledge & Learning, or liberal arts exit requirements.
