What is a Portability?
A. Portability is a provision in Voluntary Life coverage that permits an eligible employee or dependent to continue insurance at the time the employee’s coverage terminates for certain reasons. The employee must elect portability to have portable coverage for covered dependents. Refer to the certificate for details.
