A POP Account, or Mail Box is an email account that can collect email. When a person sends an email to a particular email address, the Mail Box is the place where the email is stored until you retrieve it. This Mail Box can be accessed by any person with a computer that has a Mail Client (example: Outlook Express, Eudora, Outlook 2000) and the proper username and passwords for this Mail Box. All of the email within the Mail Boxes that you create in your Control Panel can be accessed via “Webmail” which is an online email client (similar to “hotmail”) that will allow you to check your email from any computer that is online.
