What is a Political Contributing Entity (PCE)?
A political contributing entity is a vehicle through which individual FOP members with similar interests pool their personal contributions for greater impact. PCEs support candidates for office, public safety levies, and legislation of interest to the FOP. PCEs are independent of any political party or any specific candidate. The Ohio Election Commission enforces compliance of PCE activities. What is FOP PCE? The Fraternal Order of Police’s political contributing entity (PCE) is an integral part of the FOP’s efforts to support and promote the legislative and political interests of all FOP members. The PCE provides access and exists to give a voice to all FOP members in all of our jurisdictions. The mission of FOP PCE is two fold. The first is to educate legislators of issues important to law enforcement officers, such as providing for a safe, well trained and adequately staffed police force.
