What is a Polarizer (PL filter)?
The PL (polarizing filter changes natural light into a polarized condition or regulates the intensity of incoming polarized light through rotation of the filter axis. Since reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, etc., or light from blue skies are conditions of polarized light, the use of a polarizing filter will serve to regulate such reflections properly. For Automatic cameras, the Circular Polarizers are recommended.
