What is a Podcast?
A podcast is a series of related audio files being posted on the Internet on a regular basis. You can listen to these files directly on the computer. You can also subscribe to a podcast with the proper software (such as iTunes) so you will be notified of a new episode as it becomes available. The word podcast originates from the popular MP3 player iPod. Subscribed podcasts can be portable as they are easily downloaded to the iPod using the iTunes program. Many major news agency have daily podcasts for faithful audience. Currently, podcasts can include video and graphics files in addition to audio.
