What is a podcast and what is podcasting?
Podcasts, also referred to as internet radio shows or netcasts, are just regular audio files that are available online, but with one cool addition: listeners can subscribe. Sure, you can visit The Paunch Stevenson Show web site every week and download our new episodes by hand, but if you subscribe, your computer will download new episodes automatically! This might not seem like a big deal if you only listen to one or two podcasts, but if you have a bunch of favorites (The Paunch Stevenson Show, The Overnightscape, This Week in Tech, Windows Weekly, etc.), every new episode will be downloaded automatically, which is pretty convenient.
