A Placement Round is a Championship Bracket match that determines where a team will start in the Losers Bracket. Winning in a Placement Round will result in a more desirable placement within the Championship Bracket’s Losers Bracket while losing in a Placement Round will result in a less-desirable placement within the Championship Bracket’s Losers Bracket. Regardless of outcome, Teams cannot be eliminated from an Event by losing a Placement Round.
