The Personal Identification Number (PIN) is randomly assigned to each substitute after they have picked up their photo ID. To find out what their PIN numbers are, substitutes can call the SEMS number (522-8987) and follow the main menu to the personal options menu. The PIN numbers are only used when asked by a regular teacher or school administrator for their substitute ID number so that they can request or pre-assign a substitute for a specific absence. The substitute should either memorize his PIN number or have it written down in a convenient location where he always has access to it.
