What is a Personal Emergency Response Medical Alarm?

0

Your Personal Emergency Response Medical Alarm (called The PAL) has three components: a small transmitter (a help button carried or worn by the user), a PAL Call Box connected to the user’s telephone, and the emergency response center that monitors calls. When emergency help (medical, fire, or police) is needed, you simply press the PAL hlep button. It sends a radio signal to the PAL Call Box. The PAL Call Box automatically dials the the Emergency Call Center. The Call Center will assess the nature of the emergency. Our fully trained staff will review your pre-programmed information and dispatch the appropriate response. If the Call Center cannot contact you or determine whether an emergency exists, they will alert emergency service providers to go to your home. The Call Center will stay in contact with the user until the situation is resolved.
