A permanent and partial disability is a disability determined as not medically correctable and likely to continue for the remainder of the employee’s life which prevents an employee from performing the normal duties of the employee’s position, but which does not prevent the employee from performing the duties of some other position in the Civil Service ( Regs. 32.026 , 32.027 ).
