When using Paypal, an E-Check is usually created when a payment is sent from an unverified Paypal account when there isn’t enough funds in the Paypal account to cover the amount of the order. Paypal proceeds to contacting the bank to verify that the funds are available and this can cause a 3 or 4 day delay.
