What is a Peer Group?
A social work program’s peer group can be determined by its Institutional Auspice (if a college/university identifies as a public state/other or private denominational/other institution); by CSWE Region (system that aggregates states into regions); or by Carnegie Classification (classification of colleges and universities based on undergraduate/graduate instructional program classifications, enrollment, and size/setting).
