A pediatric ophthalmologist has additional training in the eye diseases of children and in the evaluation and treatment of eye misalignments (strabismus). The most common conditions we treat include myopia (nearsightedness), astigmatism, esotropia (“crossed” eyes) and exotropia, cataracts, and blocked tear ducts.
