During the Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour season, the PBA holds Open tournaments including the USBC Masters, Dick Weber Open, U.S. Open, PBA World Championship and Marathon Open. There is one (1) invitational (Tournament of Champions). The remainder of the tournaments are Standard tournaments. The entry field in these tournaments is 64 bowlers. This includes 58 Exempt players. These players received their exemptions for the season in the following ways. 1. Standard event titlists from the previous season and Major titlists with multi-season exemptions. 2. Top 40 on the Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour Point List 3. Top seven bowlers in the RPI who paid an additional fee to earn an exemption. 4. The rest of the spots come from the PBA Tour Trials The remaining six (6) spots are determined in a PBA Tour Qualifying Round or TQR.
