What Is A Patent & Who Is A Patentee?
Patent is the official legal right given to a Patentee as a special license, full power, sole privilege and authority within/during the terms of twenty years from the date of registration of the invention as prescribed by law to make, exercise and vend the said invention throughout the federal republic of Nigeria, and that the patentee shall have and enjoy the whole profit and advantage from time to time accruing by reason of the said invention. And to the end that the patentee may have and enjoy the sole use and exercise and the full benefit of the said convention. The patent is an internationally diffused law governed by MAGNAGATA (International Human Rights) it is an Intellectual Property.
