A paranormal investigator is someone who works to find evidence that paranormal activity exists. Paranormal activity may include ghosts, demons, levitation, angels, clairvoyance, telekinesis and precognition, as well as anything else that cannot be explained by the laws of science. A believer tries to prove that paranormal activity exists, while a non-believer tries to prove paranormal activity is a hoax or natural phenomenon.
