What is a paper art doll?
Put simply, a paper art doll is a paper doll that has been created or altered in a creative or artistic way! They can be as realistic or as bizarre as you like – e.g. arms made from forks or a bird cage for a body! They come in all sorts of of shapes, sizes, and mediums! There are lots of different styles of paper art dolls, and I’ll give you some links to get your inspiration flowing. But first, here is the art doll that I created for the challenge (Click to enlarge): I’ve scanned her in (with a piece of Basic Grey paper in the background) because it’s too dark right now to take any good pics! So please excuse the shininess on the top of her skirt. 🙂 I have used stamps from Stamp-it (Harlequin on legs and Mesh on bodice), Stampotique (Mesh on arms; face; text on hair) and Darkroom Door (skirt pattern, and butterfly wings).
