What is a paintball?
A paintball is a gelatin capsule (like a gelcap for medicine) that is filled with a dye containing liquid. Standard paintballs are .68 caliber. They are non-toxic and environmentally degradable. Better paintballs provide the player with rounder, more consistent balls that will allow for improved accuracy and less in-gun breakage. Usually the more expensive paintballs are manufactured so that the quality of the balls are better than their less expensive cousins. You will find that better balls have fill that is usually thicker and brighter, their weight, from ball to ball is more consistent and they are more consistently round.
