What is a nuclear Winter?
In “Still A Few Bugs in the System” Flea tried to explode a nuclear reactor to create a Nuclear Winter (so everyone but the bugs would die) A Nuclear Winter is a theory that if many nuclear bombs were explode (like in a war) the mass burning of cities and forests would release soot into the atmosphere. This would in turn block out sunlight lowing temperatures all over the world. Some estimates are between (1-36 degrees F.) It could take months or even a year for the soot to fade away. So, no disrespect to the producers of “Road Rovers”, but even if Flea had succeeded in blowing up the reactor it would have been near to impossible to start a Nuclear Winter. He would have had to explode many more.
