• A NRDS (usually pronounced “”nerds””) number is used to identify you in the National REALTOR® Database System. This 9-digit number may also be used to identify you at your local Association. This number is assigned by your local Association (SMTAR). Members will receive a membership card from NAR with this number printed on it, and it will also appear on the address label of your REALTOR® magazine. This number may be needed in order to register for Association events and education sessions.
