What is a notification?
A notification is defined as a form of communication that delivers descriptive information about news or an event, unlike a bell or siren that communicates little information. For Skyhawk Alert, a notification will arrive in the form of a text message or email, based on your message delivery selections.
A notification is an email address or pager phone number that we can use to notify you of an event. You can set up different email addresses for different people in your organization and pager notifications to page either numeric or alphanumeric pagers. See Section 5.0 for details on setting up notifications.
A notification is a written notice of intent to renovate or demolish. Notifications must contain certain specified information, including but not limited to, the scheduled starting and completion date of the work, the location of the site, the names of operators or asbestos removal contractors, methods of removal and the amount of asbestos, and whether the operation is a demolition or renovation. See Section 61.145(b) of the Asbestos NESHAP regulation.
