What is a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and how is it used?

Customers can protect their projects with a NDA. Thus, they can deter uninvolved third-parties from seeing sensible project details, they do not want to share. Projects, being protected by NDA carry the NDA icon. Basic project details are visible to everyone on the platform. The complete project description however, can only be seen after signing the NDA document. To do so, service providers have to read and sign the NDA in the project view of the specific project. They sign by typing their last name into a text box; this is legally binding. The customer reviews all service providers who have signed the NDA and select the ones he wants to accept. After being accepted, the service providers are able to make an offer for the project.
