A non-conforming use/structure is any use/structure that was in compliance with zoning requirements when it was built, but is no longer in compliance with one or more of the regulations of the applicable zoning district. The degree of non-conformance cannot be increased, according to the Citys Land Development Code (See Chapter 1, Part 500 of the Land Development Code for regulations governing non-conforming uses, structures and land.
