A – This is a microphone designed to reject more backround noise, & only pick up the user’s voice close to the mike, as compared with a either a standard or regular power mike. It is useful to truckers & drivers that have Loud engine or road noises as they drive, but is not really nessessary in a quiet car or a Base Station setup.
