What is a Nintendo event in Pokemon Diamond and when will there be one?
A Nintendo event is an event at a convention or at a toy store (Toys R Us for example) that will allow you to get the pokemon you can’t get any other way. This would include Darkrai and Arceus. There are other pokemon to get. I’m not sure if they’ve announced when all the events will be, but I know Darkrai was released in Japan and I think (but not sure) also in the states. I’ve never been to an event, so I’m not sure what they are all like. I think you show up at the convention or toy store (or wherever) and you are able to link your game up to something that enables you to get the pokemon. Other things could happen at these events, but I don’t know for certain. Now, if you are in to cheating on your Pokemon Diamond (and all this applies to Pokemon Pearl as well) you can buy a Gameshark or ActionReplay and get these pokemon ahead of time.
