What is a NHBC / Zurich warranty?
The National House Building Council is a regulatory body in the UK for the new homes industry. All reputable UK developers are members of the NHBC and are required to meet with the build standards set by the body. Properties with the ‘Buildmark’ are checked at various stages of build to ensure all work is up to standard. The NHBC Buildmark offers a 10 year warranty on the structure of your new home. A Zurich warranty is similar, these are the two standard warranties used for new homes.
