A UVM NetID is required by UVM if you are a student or paid staff or faculty. This is not the same thing as your College of Medicine account. Your UVM NetID is used for all of your personal business with UVM such as managing your UVM email or accessing PeopleSoft to view or change your payroll information. – If you arent sure what your NetID is you can look yourself up in UVMs directory at http://www.uvm.edu/directory. At the bottom of your listing is an entry for your UVM Network ID. – The first time you use your NetID it must be activated. You can activate your account at http://www.uvm.edu/account. Under Account Services choose Activate your UVM NetID account. – If you have an account and it is activated but you do not know your password go to http://www.uvm.edu/account. Under Account Services choose Reset a forgotten password. Resetting your password online requires that you have your UVM ID card, or the numbers on it. If you do not then call or email UVM Account Services at 656-26
