What is a moisture mark?

0

The moisture that’s in the air (extremely humid climates) may get trapped inside the suction cup causing condensation to form inside of it. The suction cup starts softening the lacquer finish, which can make the finish a cloudy, whitish color, and eventually get down to the wood after it has made the lacquer so soft. Then, once the moisture hits the wood, it will cause the wood to expand, creating a raised bump from the suction of the cup “pulling” upward. Five to six hours shouldn’t be a problem but the cup should remain on the wood for a maximum of eight hours. Try to avoid leaving the cups on overnight or for extended periods of time. The best advice I can give is to: REMOVE THE SUCTION CUPS AFTER YOU HAVE FINISHED PLAYING.
