What is a minor and how do I complete one?
A minor is a subject area of secondary concentration with less requirements than completing a major. Transfer students are able to complete minors at UCI. Some minors are completed independently and then certified by an academic counselor, others require an application in order to comlete the program. The academic counseling office in the school that houses the minor will be able to answer your questions about a specific minor program, and the requirements for completing minors are also found in the UCI Catalogue.
