What is a Ministerial Order?
A. Ministerial Order is a directive administered by the federal government restricting the movement of ash products such as logs, branches, nursery stock, bark, wood chips or other ash products and firewood of all species in a clearly defined area. No ash products may be moved from an area within a Ministerial Order to an area outside without full approval of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
