What is a mini-term?
Embry-Riddle offers adult learners the opportunity to take classes in an accelerated environment. Under this type of term system courses are offered in varying lengths of 8 to 12 weeks. This allows students to take a full-time academic course load over a period of 12 calendar months. The start and end date of the terms are determined locally by each resident center. Students enrolled in the Independent Studies program have the advantage of being able to start new courses each month. Please contact your local Worldwide Campus or the Department of Independent Studies for further information on course offerings in your area.
