What is a Mini Slab?
Our mini slab granite is pre-made in set sizes before it is shipped from the stone quarries. It has an edge of 1.25 inches and is .5 inches thick. So you get the look of a full 1 1/4′ slab with a fraction of the cost. It is 25.25 inches deep and we have as standard a 4 inch back splash available. Parts like bar tops, raised bar tops, peninsula, island and full back splash pieces are also pre-made and available. Because of the cheaper cost of fabrication overseas at the quarry you are able to get the same top quality granite at half or a third of the cost of granite from other fabricators. We place the granite over a sub straight of MDF or other material such as cement board for outdoor application. Our stones are sealed by the installer and maintenance is minimal after that. Also the mini slab is the first do it yourself installation granite if you so choose. We provide everything necessary including instructions, install kits and we are only phone call away if you need assistance.
