What is a Micro Filter?

0

When Broadband is enabled on your telephone line, all of your telephone sockets can transmit a Broadband signal. This signal can interfere with voice and fax calls, making the line sound crackly. Filters remove the crackle and let you make normal voice and fax calls at the same time you’re online with your Broadband connection. If you have more than one telephone socket attached to the telephone line you intend to use for Broadband, you will need to order a micro filter for each socket. Phone extension cables can cause problems and we do not advise their use with a micro filter.
