What is a merchant account?
A merchant account allows a business to accept credit cards as payment from customers. The account captures funds from the card holder’s processing bank and deposits the money into the business owner’s checking account. ASCP Cell Charge uses a unique phone system that allows businesses to key credit card information into their existing phone to receive instant card approval and have the corresponding funds deposited into their existing checking account. For more information, please review “Credit Cards 101” under Merchant Protection.
