You may have heard dispensing collectives referred to as cannabis buyers’ clubs, compassion centers, or cannabis co-ops. There are more than 200 dispensing collectives operating in California as of early 2006. Dispensing collectives require that patients register as members before receiving medication. This allows the dispensing collective staff to verify the patient’s letter of recommendation and track t
