What is a MD-PhD Degree in Engineering?
An integrated program through which it is possible to obtain degrees in medicine and engineering is offered through a joint program between the School of Medicine in Shreveport and Louisiana Tech University, in nearby Ruston. Acceptance into the program requires acceptance by both schools and by a joint committee. Applicants should apply through AMCAS in the usual way for admission to the medical school, and should contact the Academic Director for Biomedical, Industrial, and Mechanical Engineering at Louisiana Tech University, P.O.
