What is a McMansion exactly?
As you may have already guessed, the “Mc” prefix is a reference to mega fast food restaurant McDonald’s. Like the restaurant and its products, these homes are mass-produced, super-sized, and are dispensed like burgers. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but it does lack the true architectural flavor of a determined area, giving instead a more artificial look.
