Many companies have matching gift programs where they agree to match a certain percentage of the donations you are able to obtain. This can significantly increase the impact you make in supporting the troops and their families. It’s a great idea to ask your donors to check with their companies to see if they will match their contribution to you! Some people are able to double their fundraising because of matching gifts! Different companies have different policies regarding matching gifts so ask your donors to check with the human resources or finance department at the company you are interested in to see if they have a program and what their requirements are. They will give you the information needed to submit a request.
