What is a Manufacturers Defect?
This is any part that fails to perform as it was designed to due to being manufactured improperly as opposed to a failure from wear. Example: If the clutch works when your tractor is delivered but at a later date needs to be replaced due to wear regardless of the amount of time the tractor has been used, it is not a warranty item. If the same clutch fails because the clutch pressure plate breaks due to a casting defect, the pressure plate would be a defective part.
