What is a major? Do I have to declare a major?
A major is a planned series of courses that teach the greatest depth of skills and knowledge in an academic discipline. Students can declare a major when completing the application for admissions to WLAC however it is not necessary to declare or decide on a major to register. Students that are undecided about their major can submit at a later date the necessary paper work in Admissions & Records to declare their major after deciding.
