What is a Local Strategic Partnership?
A Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) is a single non-statutory, multi-agency body, which matches local authority boundaries. It aims to bring together, at a local level, the different parts of the public, private, community and voluntary sectors. LSPs are key to tackling problems such as poverty within communities. Sorting these problems often means getting a range of people and organisations to work together. Local agencies, businesses and community and voluntary groups form an LSP.
