What is a Limited Edition bronze sculpture?
Most of Duane’s sculptures are limited editions. When he first creates the original clay model and makes a master rubber mold of it, he sets a limit as to the total number of them that he will cast in bronze. This can be from one (a one time commission) to several hundred, depending on the piece. Once this limit is met, he essentially “breaks” the mold and no more of that particular sculpture will be made. While each one will look essentially the same, since each one is made by hand, no two are exactly alike which contributes to the uniqueness of each piece.
