What is a life-long learner?

0

Life long learners are the key to our future. We have seen various economic revolutions throughout history. First there was the Agrarian Revolution followed by the Industrial Revolution and the Computer Revolution. We believe the next revolution will be the Information Revolution. In order to be competitive and “untouchable” in your chosen field, students today will need to be constantly updating their skill sets and core competencies in order to avoid the elimination or outsourcing of their skills to other countries where laborers are skilled and will work for lower wages. We’ve seen it happen in the manufacturing industry. It is happening with computers. We’ve all heard about call centers in foreign countries and even highly skilled doctors such as radiologists are finding that with digital imaging, diagnosis and interpretation can be outsourced to other countries.
