What is a “Liberal Arts” curriculum?
At the Mount, you’ll study a foundation in the liberal arts and sciences core curriculum. Mount graduates possess not only professional skills that will enhance success in the workplace but also qualities associated with a liberally educated person in a complex, diverse world. All baccalaureate students take 52 semester credit hours in the core curriculum. For details, visit the Catalog. During the junior or senior year, students participate in a capstone experience. This course integrates what they’ve learned in their liberal arts core curriculum with their major.
