WHAT IS A LETTER OF GOOD CONDUCT?

0

A letter of good conduct states that the requesting party has no criminal arrest record with the Nashua Police Department. Employers, housing authority, or a state/federal agency may require letters of good conduct. Other persons may not request a letter of good conduct on anothers behalf. The requesting party must make the request in person during regular business hours. If you have been arrested for a misdemeanor or felony as an adult person in Nashua, Records Division personnel will refer you to the Nashua District Court to obtain a copy of your arrests & convictions. If you have not been arrested as an adult person, you will be required to produce 2 forms of identification (one must be a photo ID) and fill out a request form. Once approved, a notarized letter will be prepared for you. The cost for a letter of good conduct is $5.00. Letters of Good Conduct may be obtained during regular business hours. Please note that individual criminal and driving histories are protected by law a
