What is a late withdrawal?

0

A late withdrawal occurs when a student requests permission to withdrawal after the last day to withdrawal has passed. Students can receive a late withdrawal form from their academic advisor or through the Office of Admissions. The form must be signed by the student’s professor and the professor’s Division Dean granting the student permission to receive a W grade for the course. To be eligible for a late withdrawal, a student must be passing the course at the time of the request. Forms must be submitted to the Office of Admissions and Records on or before the last day of class before final examinations begin.
