What is a keyless chuck?
Keyless chucks are found on nearly all brands/models of both electric and cordless drills and come in either double sleeve or single sleeve. Single sleeve can be operated one handed and are recommended for applications which require fast and frequent bit changes. Models featuring this type of chuck must also feature an auto spindle lock (prevents the chuck from spinning). This is automatically activated when the speed trigger is released.
